How do I make Retrospect 6.5 work on my new computer with Windows 7/XP mode?

A
Answer by Alex Urbach

This product was designed for the following operating systems: Windows NT, 98, 2000 , Me, XP and 95. The compatibility with operating systems that are above these is uncertain. Windows 7 features a compatibility mode for applications and, in some cases, applications from Windows XP work well on newer platforms. Just right click the application and select its compatibility mode to Windows XP, then try to run it again and observe its behavior. If the application refuses to run, then you will be forced to install it on a virtual machine.
